Telangana High Court case status: quash, bail and writ petitions
The Telangana High Court publishes case status on its official website and through the national eCourts services. A matter can ordinarily be searched by case type, number and year; by the name of a party (useful for a writ petition status search by name); or by the name of the advocate on record. Criminal petitions such as quash petitions and bail applications are listed under the criminal petition case types, and writ petitions under the writ case types.
Before a matter is numbered it appears only against its filing (SR) number. If a petition has been returned for defects, the defects must be complied with before it is numbered and listed.
High Court daily cause list, Hyderabad
The daily cause list shows which matters are listed before each bench on a given day, and is published on the High Court website, usually the previous evening. Supplementary lists are published for matters added later. Searching the cause list by advocate name or case number is the most reliable way to know whether a matter will be taken up.

Petitions in the Telangana High Court are filed through the e-filing system. After submission the filing receives a reference, is scrutinised by the Registry, and is either numbered or returned with objections. The e-filing portal shows the stage of scrutiny; the advocate on record receives notice of any objections to be cured.
Telangana High Court certified copy online
A certified copy of an order or judgment is required for filing an appeal or a Special Leave Petition, and often for producing the order before a trial court or the police. Applications for certified copies can be made through the High Court's copy application facility, and the time taken is excluded when computing limitation for an appeal.
Lunch motion petition in the Telangana High Court
A lunch motion is a request to have an urgent matter heard on the same day, outside the regular list — for example where demolition, dispossession, arrest or a time-bound action is imminent. Permission is sought from the bench under the High Court's practice directions, and urgency must be shown on the record. Where the urgency is not established, the matter is directed to be listed in the ordinary course.
