Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy explains how RV Advocates & Associates handles information submitted through this website, including consultation enquiries sent by the enquiry form, email, telephone or messaging applications.
Information collected
The enquiry form collects the name, telephone number, city, the category of the matter and a description of the matter, together with an email address where provided. This information is supplied voluntarily by the person making the enquiry.
The website does not require registration and does not ask for identity documents, financial details or payment information at the enquiry stage.
How the information is used
Information submitted is used only to respond to the enquiry, to assess whether assistance can be provided in the matter, and to arrange a consultation. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing.
Confidentiality
Communications with an advocate concerning a matter are treated as confidential. Information relating to a matter is disclosed only where the client instructs disclosure, where disclosure is necessary to conduct the matter, or where disclosure is required by law or by an order of a court.
Please note that sending an enquiry through this website does not by itself create an advocate-client relationship. That relationship arises only when the engagement is accepted in writing.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for so long as is necessary to respond to the enquiry and, in matters that proceed to engagement, for the period required by professional and legal obligations relating to case records.
Cookies and analytics
This website is built as a content website and does not use cookies to profile visitors for advertising. Where basic analytics or hosting logs are used, they record technical information such as pages visited and approximate location, in aggregate, to understand how the site is used.
Third-party services
Links on this site may open external applications such as the telephone dialler, email client or WhatsApp. Communications through those applications are governed by the privacy terms of the respective service providers.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information received. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and sensitive documents should be shared in person or through a channel agreed at the time of consultation.
Your choices
A person who has submitted an enquiry may ask for the details to be corrected or removed by writing to iplegalworks@gmail.com. Requests are acted upon subject to any record-keeping obligation that applies to matters already taken up.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the one in effect.
